hey guys,
has anyone from the uk had a watch of the new program on chanel 5 called the essex jungle??? i am keen to get some other peoples opinions on this show!
 
A brilliant edit job by the producers to make rep keepers look like eccentric numpties...
And Aaron the reptile god .... Well he needs care in the community......
Programme could of been so good and ended up as crap with loads of duff info....
 
ye they make all the people on it look like right old freaks dont they! and the guy who was on the last episode who thought he was some kind of reptile specialist cos he had a boa and a geko was a proper tool!!!

That would be Aaron....
There was an offer by the producers for some of us to take part in the show..... Everyone I spoke to had reservations about it.... In a few days the producer is going to come on line and answer a few questions about the show and why he made it the way he did....
 
i've watched it and it seems they have made us reptile keepers look like we don't care about our pets! That Aaron thinks he's god's gift because he owns a big snake and he was able to catch it with his bare hands ( oooooh, he's hard! pffffft ). He needs to stop showing off and actually learn a bit more about his animals!
 
i am going to watch the series through because there are some aspects of it and the poeple in the show that i find very interesting, such as the couple who run the shop....is it called scales and fangs or something? they seemed to be prety keyed in i think but everyone else who they have shown so infuriate me, i am sure i heard the big guy with the horrible dreadlocks refer to a corn snake as a mountain snake or something like that in the latest episode. and the guy with the stupid hat who has about 10 kids, 5 dogs,and a house full or reptiles needs a reality check!
 
Next week two friends of mine are foolishly going on the show.... David Snipp is being featured and deano is with him.... Both are very good keepers so it will be interesting to see how the edit works.....
I know deano was un happy with the edit to the question.... Is this snake dangerous and he replied Yes, as dangerous as a Golden retriever....
And they clipped the last part to just leave, yes....
