I've been thinking about ways to make monthly (or bimonthly if that's okay.) clean up of my snake's tank less of a hassle. I felt his tank is too open right now even with bunch of hides. Instead of buying those, corny tank backgrounds, is it okay to hang a piece of dark colored fabric on the back of the tank? Or should I go with something more leafy?
