FALSE ALARM ~ ESCAPEE!!!

kcaven

LOCA for corn snakes !!!
I thought we had an ESCAPEE!! I went to get MoJo out of his viv and looked under his favorite hide, no snake. I lifted his cool hide, no snake. Ok so I thought since he's been exploring his viv alot more these past few days maybe hes under his driftwood, NO SNAKE! (Ok now is where the panic sets in ) I took EVERYTHING out of his viv and searched under all of the aspen, NO SNAKE! (About to start crying):crying: Then after starting to search the room he is in (our office) I searched the aspen again and realized the background was bubbled a bit! The little bugger crawled up behind the background and was just hanging out up against the back of the glass! :crazy02:

WOW! Was I relieved? All I kept thinking was, "How am I going to explain this to my son?"

So now that my heart was jump started for the day I am thoroughly AWAKE now!

Haha glad it was a false alarm. Once my snake had climped up and roosted underneath the lid. Its hard to explain where she was but I lifed half the lid started sifting around searching and searching and thinking "OH...MY...GOD...My mom is going to KILL me!" But it was a false alarm too!

Hahaha.... no I had a very hard time falling asleep after all of that! I started counting snakes instead if SHEEP! *badumbump*

I also kept thinking that if I took something out of his viv and placed it on the floor..he might be in it (wood) and come out AFTER I placed outside the viv on the floor. Then it would be my fault! I checked every crevice in the wood..there is no way he could get inside it. I just remember reading threads about the strangest places people have found their snakes when they thought they escaped! Now I can add mine to the list!
