Hey guys we went to the store today to get some mice to breed. So my mom got a pregnant (she thinks is pregnant) fancy mouse. It is very fat,not regular fat but big big,so she may be pregnant but i mean we cant tell. The lady said she may be pregnant and told us she probly pregnant. So we got a hopper for Irwin and swong my target and got 2 rubber maids for the mice for when we are breeding them. So heres my questions.

Is there a way i can tell that she is for sure pregnant?

How many babys do they usually produce every time of birth.

See yas :)

I also breed mice Im trying to get on a larger scale but... trying new things... but you can usually tell that the mouse is pregnent by just looking at her... thats all that is required... if she looks fat then shes pregnent (99% of the time) but you can also tell by usually holding her... if you touch her tummy then you should feel some moving...
Mice especially the large ones will usually have a litter of about 14-20 around there or they could have more... expect to have alot!

In my rodent experience I have found that if a female is pregnant you can usually tell when she gets big and you can feel the lumpy babies in her belly. My mice usually gave birth to between 6 and 12 babies, average about 10, and they can do that every month. Remember that if you want to breed them that females can conceive immediately after giving birth but they can't do so without a male around! ;)
