feeding problem

Got a problem with Tango, she will be two year's old in July, approximately 4ft, she has not eaten in two week's which is totally unlike her, she is normally such a glutton. She had a shed the day after her last meal and nothing since. She had just moved onto large mice after the shed and as soon as the mouse was lowered in she just backed off like she was frightened. Since then I have had to put her in her in her new tank, because the other was getting too small and this would not help much either. Each time I have put the mice in she just back's off up until last night. She actually started exploring them but still didn't eat them. How long do I give her before I need to get her checked? :(

if she eats a lot dont worry for at least 2-4 weeks although corns are "active" snakes and have a faster metabolism then say a boa or python they can still go for ages with out eating (some people hirbernate there adults for 3 months and lose very little weight) some of my adult males dont eat hardly at all during march till june (some thing like 2 mice a month)and althought they do lose a lot of weight they recover very well. Jusr make sure she doesnt have any respiratory problems (ie wheezing, mucus staring at the celling - snakes do this when ri problems are bad and it helps open there airway), Assuming everything is fine give her a week or so tehn try and feed her again. All this also assumes she has'nt been mated and she is really she (have you had her sexed?) if she turns out to be a he then its the time of year they start to breed, then males have a greatly reduced diet and spend alot of time moving about.
hope that help :)

Thank's for your advice Limey. Tango is a she, have not noticed any wheezing or anything just have to hope she feed's next time.
