Feeding Question?

I'm so sorry to ask this, and if its something that has been asked many times before, please forgive me. I did try a search, but couldn't find an answer.

How do you know if you are overfeeding it? I read somewhere that cornsnakes will eat whatever is put in front of them, and they could get fat, if fed too often. My snake seems to be on the small side, because of the shop I bought him from keeping his size down until sold. In the shop, he was given one pinky a week, now he's on two pinkies, and I'm working up to three, and then it will be a fuzzy and so on until I get to a mouse.

As he's so small, how long do you think it might take for him to get to a 'normal' corn snake size for his age?

from the sound of it I'd say you are doing fine, and actually if you read joejr14's FAQ it answers your feeding questions. But in terms of how fast it will grow that's up to the snake. I have two that are clutch mates and one is almost twice the size of the other one. She's starting to put on weight but it took her longer than her sister.
