Female ovulating a little late?

I just got home for the first time in 5 weeks. My step dad has been taking care of the adult snakes while I have been in maine, and I finally get to come back and see them.

Well my monster of a female RO is ovulating again, it would seem. She came out of hibernation near the end of december, and layed her eggs on may 13th. Seems like its been a while and is a little late to ovulate again. I thought it was a little curious.

The thing that got me wondering is that these eggs are BIG. I first noticed because i could SEE bumps on her underside. When I ran her through my hands they were monsterous bumps. How long have other people's snakes gone between clutchs? I havent bred her again since april. Could she be having a late double clutch?
