Finally after months of debate...

Green Bean

Reptile Chick
Finally after months of debate, I've decided to house my growing collection of corns in a rack system.

I am planning on picking up a few hatchlings in the next few months and have a question. How long can one use the marketed "hatchling racks" for? Is it safe to assume those are for newborn corns?

Also can someone, if they have it, post a picture of 11inch flexwatt and a 3inch flexwatt? I am confused as to which ends are hooked up and how it looks. I mean is it 11 inches long or wide or is it an 11 inch square?

Anyway I think that's it.
Catch ya'll later.

I wouldn't house hatchlings more than three months in those racks, there just isn't much room once they start to grow. Sterilite shoeboxes ($1.25 at WalMart) are good for up to a year, are stackable, and make excellent feeding bins once the snakes have outgrown them as housing.

Thanks. Yea, I didn't think the hatchling racks were to be used for very long. I guess I'll go the shoebox route then.

a company called Jasons Jungles makes an 18 slot rack system that is already set up with heat, etc, for about $300 that uses the shoebox containers. It is what they call their juvenile rack. I raise snakes from birth to about a year in these and reccomend them to anyone.
