Hello all, :wavey: been hanging around a little while here. Finally picked up my new snake yesterday and got some quick pics last night. One problem I have is trying to figure out what kind of Corn this is, probably normal as I do know it was a wild caught snake found here sometime last year.
Anywy here are the pics, the head section has oranges reds and yellows then he gets darker to almost gray toward the middle and tail. The belly looks like a DNA strand to me. No matter what type it is, we think it's cool. :)

Thought so, but all the normals I found by doing a google search looked different. I didn't want to tell people it's something it's not so I figured I'd ask here.
He's a great snake with a perfect attitude.

the majority of normals you'll see online are captive bred and usually a little brighter. It all depends on where you find your corn as to the colors it has.....or so it seems. I know for me (NC) that the further i go southeast, the brighter they are. then again that's heading in the direction of okeetee country so it's tobe expected.

Makes sense, this one was found here in mid mississippi.
This is my first Corn, had Kings and a Python before but this one has the best personality so far. I still can't get over the belly.

Heh, I can't believe no one has mentioned the lovely bum on his shirt yet.

Great looking snake though. The bright white all the way down the belly is really quite striking. My normal girl's ventral gets a lot more "blushed" near the vent, but yours is looking pretty clear the whole way down. Nice. :)
