OK, after three weeks of disappointment I have finally got my corn snake.
He/she is a baby ghost. The guy was supposed to be getting about 20 hatchlings but he ended up only getting three, two ghosts and a miami.
I've just finished setting up the little plastic container, 13x7", and he is curled up under a piece of his cork bark. At the minute it's 78 degrees in the warm side and 71 on the cool side.
His eyes are milky so a shed will be soon.
I would like to thank everybody for past advice and the advice I will no doubt be getting in the future.:D

Congratulations on your new corn!

One thing I would like to point out though...78º sounds a little low..it shoudl be more like 84ºF on the warm side.

Well it was 78 degrees at first but it's slowly creeping up, 80 degrees now.
If it doesn't get up to the mid 80s then I'll get one of them angled desk lamps and a low wattage heat bulb.
I know that corns don't need a specific humidity % but what is the safe range? 50-80%?

yeah

I would raise it to at least 82.

Although I must say I recently spoke to a woman....(crap cant remember where she is from) who keeps her corns at 76-84 with no supplemental heat. I am not advising you do this but pointing this out for conversation :) She said she has had no problems and gets healthy clutches each year this way, even when the temps settle around 78-80. Interesting.

I myself keep my corns at around 82-84 in hot spot.
