First/Second Feeding Excitement

Had the first feeding for my 3 hatchlings (not sure if thats still the right word, they're under 3 months old) and the second feeding for my yearling. Managed to feed 1 fuzzy and 4 pinkies to 4 snakes without a problem. they all gently took the mice when offered, and no one regurgitated. it went so much better then the yearlings first feeding.

with his first feeding, I was so nervous, which I'm sure he knew. then someone distracted me right at the same time he decided to strike the mouse. I screamed, dropped the mouse and one of the disposable chopsticks I was using to hold the mouse. he ran behind his water bowl and would come out again. He didn't come out to eat his mouse til we went to bed a half hour later. but at least he did eat. I was afraid I had traumatized him, but he ate just fine this evening.
