Just thought I'd post some new pics of Frank and Dru, didn't get a chance to take a new pic of Spike yet as he had eaten before I remembered to take pictures.

A) Beautiful snakes :)

B) LOVE the names! I was so obsessed with Spike that I actually was able to watch the entire Angel series (which pretty much blew) just because Spikey poo was there :)

Beautiful snakes. And p.s cool genealogy chart in the background there, I don't think I have seen one like that before.

Thanks you guys!

@Evol Girl - I LOVE BtVS, I have two boas as well named Oz and Xander. (teehee) but Spike was definitely my favorite character.

@K. Rene - I'm into geneology a little, this one was a template my mom had found, and we had someone do all of the calligraphy professionally, so all the handwriting there is hand done. I might be able to remember where I found the half-circle design, but the calligraphy artist was a family friend. (ps- thanks for noticing!)

I have to admit - I had a huge crush on Oz too... But actually that's more a crush on Seth Green than his character.

We are getting a new kitty (I know I know - NOT A SNAKE) but still - getting a new kitty soon and I think I may have to go with something from BtVS now that my love has been freshly rekindled :)

no worries, I am also a fan of teh kittehs! I would definitely do something from BtVS, maybe Willow or Tara?

Its gonna be a boy - (we have 3 girls and only one boy right now - so we need to add testosterone)... Maybe Rupert?!?

I like Rupert cuz then you could call him Rupee! Or maybe Riley? or (even though it's technically Angel) what about Liam?

I kinda like Rupert too... So Studious :)

Ok - what was the first lacky of Angels called? The gambler 1/2 demon that died saving Angel and who Cordy was gonna love?!? I liked him - if he had a good name I could go with that (Are we gonna get this thread deleted for going so far off topic?)

So its between Rupert and Doyle. Nice ;)

BTW. Nice to meet you - I just now see that you're from MN too! Although I'll admit, I have NO idea where Dilworth is...

How large are your boas? My daughter and I went to a reptile show and saw one that was around 17'... I know they can get big, I just am unaware if they ALL get that big or only certain types...

Haha, nice to meet you too, Dilworth is basically a suburb of Fargo/Moorhead, I used to live in the cities, in the Minnetonka area, what about you?

My boas are still babies right now, I have a Central American that is around 2 ft long (that's Xander) and a normal Colombian Boa that is around 3 ft or just over (That's Oz)

17' sounds HUGE for a boa, a python maybe? Those can definitely get that big, the average boa is between 8-10 feet full grown. I don't know if boas are able to get that large, I'm no expert lol. I didn't think so though, anacondas, pythons, etc average 15 feet or so.

Which reptile show did you go to? I'm looking at going to one in August, perhaps we could meet up? I'll be bringing one of my gal pals and you should bring your daughter (btw, how old is she?) I'd love to bring my hubby too, but he'll be working :(

I live right now in Hopkins actually - bordering Mtka, and lived in Mtka most of my childhood / teenage years :) We are trying to move closer to Minneapolis, but the housing market is just terrible so I think we're stuck here for a bit longer!

We went to one out in Bloomington on March 20 at a hotel... It was pretty small - just a little convention room, but I loved it.

I'm PRETTY sure it was a boa but I guess I can't be positive. I'm kind of new to snakes and might be wrong as to what he was. But he was GINORMOUS. A little too big for my taste actually - I'm pretty sure I would be a bit nervous around him. :)

Since getting our little Elvie I'm all about the reptiles so I'd love to go to another show in August - where is that one at? I'll bring Taylor (my daughter) - she's 9. My "hubby" (BF of 6 years) would rather die that come, so it can be a girls day :)

Cool, I used to frequent downtown Hopkins when I lived in St. Louis Park.

Now that I've looked it up again, it looks like it's the same show you went to in March, but they added a second date for this year, so it'll be in the same place in Bloomington but on August 21 instead. Maybe they'll have the huge snake there again and we can see for sure what he was! :p

Taylor is such a pretty name! A girls day sounds awesome, I think shall be our plan then!

Oh I hope I hope!!! I know they didn't sell him, and I'm guessing he's more there for attraction purposes so yes. 17' snake here we come!

My name is Summer, btw - and I'll see you in August :)

Although im sure I'll see you here before then!
