I have not thrown up some pictures of Frankie in awhile, so here he is. I got a pretty cool tongue shot, if you look closely you can see the cricket enveloped in his tongue.
Veiled Chameleons are very forgiving. A screen cage, 2x a day misting, an ice cube on top for some dripping, a UV bulb, and a heat bulb and you are golden.
And is that what Frankie is? A Veiled Chameleon? We went to a reptile show recently, and my son and I were just laughing at a display full of chameleons - it cracked us up how one eye was always on us, and the other one was looking elsewhere. And the way they grip the branches with those toes and tail... They're just awesome.
