'Frog Moss'???

Bluebird

lovin my Okeetee boy
Has anyone seen this in the reptile section of a petstore?

I was looking for something to bring up the humidity in my son's viv, ( going to see if I can track down some sphagnum moss today ).

anyhoo, 'frog moss' is a living moss plant, you just keep it moist and it grows.

Is this suitable for a corn? Just curious about what is safe and suitable .

It needs lots of light to grow and thrive. I use Fluker's Terrarium moss in a gladware with a hole in it to keep my humidity up when the snakes are blue.

Hi there:

To keep humidity up, I mist when needed according to the humidity guage I am using but a simple method you may like to try is to place the water bowl over the under tank heater, or place the water bowl directly under the "above" heat source.

Please describe the set up so we can better assist you.

Thanks.

You keep your son in a Viv? :sidestep:
:grin01:

I live in a pretty dry area and I've never worried about humidity. I'd only worry about it if it seems to be a problem (bad sheds) in that case I think Wax had a good idea there.
