Frozen mice

"Please note that when you get them they may be fully or partly defrosted and will need re freezing, this is perfectly safe as they are fresh and will be kept cold during transit. The best way to re freeze them is to put them on sheets so they are not touching each other before putting them in the freezer, this makes it easier to get one out at a time. You should then put them in to a plastic container with a lid for storage."

this is what a site says about sending mice, they say they come in a polystrene box with an ice pack.
is this OK, if i order about 50 fuzzies, 35 small?? because it costs a fortune for me to buy mice from the local shop (50p for one frozen fuzzie!!!!!!!!!!)

I don't think...

It's a good idea to have the mice "fully or partly defrosted". Whenever I've ordered mice from online they come with dry ice next day so they aren't defrosted at all. I think this is the best way to go to avoid any problems. Personally, I wouldn't want to take any chances... so if I were you I might look for a different place to order your mice from. Just my opinion...
