Full shed (WOO-HOO!!!)

I have just come into my snakes room today and realised he has had a perfect, 100%, full shed!!! This is a really big deal for me as he/she has never done that before and I have always had to give a little helping hand. :)

Also, since I have had my snake, it's only ever shed on a full moon!!! :eek1:

Does anyone else's snake do this or is it just mine that's a deamon??? lol :grin01:  :grin01:

Does anyone know a word (in a different language) for devil, deamon or full moon etc? Because I think that would be an appropriate name!

Thanks a lot,

Andy

can't help you out with a name, but congratulations on having the humidity just right for a perfect shed :)

Cool, congrats on the full shed! My snake is actually in shed right now. Maybe I'll get an extra christmas present and have a full shed too :)

congrats, my snows first shed was horrid, but I did get her from some jacked up pet shop, but her last 5 with me have been perfect so I think we're on the right track. As far as the name goes, Jinn is devil in arabic, and afreet/afrit is demon, I had a cat name Jinn cause he was a little devil heh.

Teufel is "devil" in german (pronounced toy-ful)...Daemon is demon (ae sounds like "eh" and is normally written just as "a" with the two dots above it...but enough of the lesson!) congrats on the shed, and good luck with the name! :wavey:

Thanks

Thanks for all the replies :crazy02:

I quite like the name teufel but I'll see if any more posts arrive. Also, how do you lot keep/preserve your snake skins??? Do you press them in a heavy book or something???

Thanks again,

Andy

p.s. Merry crimbo! :santa: :santa: :santa:

If you just keep them somewhere where they won't tear, they should dry out and be fine all by themselves. One user (sorry don't remember who) said they've kept a boa shed in a shoebox and it's kept for 3 years so far!

Happy Holidays! :santa:

*G* Since names are my specialty I suppose I ought to offer up a few... There's Thoth which is a male ejyption name meaning "God of the Moon". Thoth is also a street performer in New York who sings beautiful opera sonnets in a languige he made up himself.

There's Cerberus which means "demon of the pit" (Or Kerberos.) It's actually the name of the three head dog that guards the gates to Hadies, but eh...

I wish I could find more male names that mean moon, lol. (I'm assuming he's a he.) But yes... As far as names meaning demon, all of them have pretty much already been said. (Daimon, Damian, etc.) Though there's a good site that has like the name of every demon ever thought of, lol. http://www.demons-lair.20m.com/demonnames.html Lemme know if that's any help!
