Hi snakewispera snr
I`d read this story on Wilbur sometime back. Blaming what happened to poor Wilbur on the python would be like blaming spoons for overweight people.
This petition to add larger Boidae`s to the DWA list under the Dangerous Wild Animals Act 1976 is a little short sighted and uneducated. (in my opinion)

As domestic cats are not endemic to the UK and these animals are known to become invasive and feral is an environmental problem. These animals are well recorded to be being a bad effect on the natural ecosystem due to the killing of indigenous mammals, reptiles and birds in the UK?
Why not ban cats so the accident with Wilbur will never happen again.:shrugs:

Shaun, that was the same argument that we used.....
The government just sort of told them that it was bad luck and these things happen if you allow your pets to roam free.... LOL
I totally agree about the damage that cats can do.. I think they should be controlled like dogs are controlled....
