My snake loves getting wet. No problem there. The best corn snake guide I know is "The Corn snake Manual" by Bill & Cathy Love. Lots of great information and some great pictures too. Have fun
My corn snakes love to soak in their water, and i ve seen several rat snakes crossing rivers and small streams near were i live, water wont hurt them at all, and they seem to be fairly good swimmers in my opinion.
I put mine for a little bath before their feed and 48 hours after they eat. My hypo female is really fat and I put her to a little swimming excercise every week and try to get her a bit slimmer.....
Get the Corn snake Manuel from Bill and Kathy Love as this book as lots of great information and pictures to help you answer a lot of information!
My corn hates water. I see him drink from his water bowl a lot, but he never soaks in it. I have tried to give him a bath and he gets out as fast as he can. Some like it some don't.
Mine too! He doesn't even drink that much. I have to bring him up to the bowl and put his mouth right up to the water and then he drinks a little then runs away.
And I can just hear him shrieking, "NOOOO! NO! Not a bath!!!" when I take him into the bathroom. The sink is still a little deep for him to get out of but I don't know how long that's gonna last at the rate he's growing. My mom is dead set against me using the bathtub for him.
My corn love a bath, sometimes i see him all curlded up inside his water bowl. if you want you could get him a large enough bowl that his whole body could fit in like i have (if he does like to bath). But remember not too deep. when you do bath him watch out if he poops.
