Ghost and Hypolavender

Hello, I bought a pair of cornsnakes last year and this year I got some offspirng from them.

When I bought them I got the info they would be het. for hypolavender and that they had produced 4 hypolavender the last year.

Now, among the babies there are now: 1 nice looking hypomelanistic, 1 anethyristic, 1 snowcorn and 4 snakes that looks like really bright coloured ghosts.

Does anyone have a tip on how to see the difference between common ghosts, ghostlavenders and hypolavenders?

Best regards//Kim Hansson, Sweden

I assume the parents are normals... ?

Hypo lavenders (especially males) tend to get some (or a lot of) orange coloration between the saddles.

If the parents were normals, did you hatch any lavenders? Also, did you hatch any normals?

It's possible that they are not het for lavender. Some ghosts are mistakenly labeled as lavenders. Would it be possible to post pictures of the parents and offspring?

Yes, the parents are normals. I hatched 9 normals. I believe I can see some pink or reddish colour in the snakes. But since they're so small it's hard to say if it's the colour of the skin or the inner organs. I will post some pics soon.

regards//Kim
