hey everyone

i finally got my dad conviced to let me get a snake, so i bought myself (or my snake) a terrarium + all the equipment !
will be getting the snake on the 25th (for my b-day )

am so looking forward to setting up my tank tomorow hehehe

i researched and read most of the faq's and manuals a few months ago, so its just a matter of putting it all together
i just hope i can get the temps right 1st try, hehe

welcome. maby you should set the tank up and sustain the temp ,b efore you get the snake.

Welcome :wavey: I'm new here too.

I never got to convince my parents, they always disapproved, even when i got a tarantula. I just decided last week to buy a corn snake. My dad wouldn't touch a snake and my mom is scared to even look at it.
I wonder what color you will get. I have a normal lol.

well, i'm thinking of gettin one of those caramel colour / emori types

but hmm, i got my tank nearly ready, just not sure how deep the substrate should be ?
i know corns like to burrow.
i guess i should check the temps 1st, then add more substrate ?
hmm

maybe 1/2 the tank with deep substrate, and the other 1/2 with shallow substrate ?
