HA I caught him.

SWINGRRRR

I need/want a 'Cane
I went into the "snake room" to put my new thermometer I bought in there and I actually saw Jor El drinking from his water bowl. There was a thread on here a while back about people saying they never see their snakes drink, well I finally saw mine!! He saw me, and lightning dashed back into his hide.

Well, I am off for a mouse. I ordered my new baby today, so ill have some stupid newb question when I get home.

Hehe, all snakes are different. I rarely see my boa or ball python drink, but the corn and burmese have no problem dunking their heads in for a drink - my corn usually drinks about 2 seconds after I put a fresh bowl in (picky!). My burm will usually dunk his entire head in, usually past his nostrils and sometimes up to his neck! Silly thing...

Whew, he almost got me. He was a breeder so he was not handled much. We are still working on him being pissy sometimes, and remember I have only had him 2 weeks. Well, I went to get him out to feed him, and I did not see him. I figured he was in his hide, where I saw him going last. I reached in to move his hide, just then my brother said he was buried in the substrate. I looked and my hand was right by his face. He didn't hiss or anything.

But hes all fed and happy back in his hide now. Kinda a close call.
