This is only my 3rd or so handling with Pandora, but he seems pretty cool with me - he's sleeping in my sleeve right now lol. How long should I leave him there? He feels super calm and I don't wanna disturb him... How long do you guys normally let your snakes out for, especially the tiny, under-a-year-old ones?
 
usually.10-15 mind is good.. since he's still growing you'll want to try to keep handling to a minimum so he can use his energy towords growing up big and strong!

I did 15 minutes everyday day with sirius and he's the tamest snake I have ever met!!!

I agree with this fully. It's hard but when they are tiny you want to try to handle a minimum amount of time. It might seem like they are super comfortable but they stress out really easily. Of course it's good to still handle them a bit though so they are more docile when they are older.

Right now my snake is 10g and I try to handle no more than 15 minutes when we take him out. He seems to not mind being handled and is actively exploring but I'd rather not risk stressing him out at all. Try not to handle while he is in blue and definitely no handling after feeding (wait at least 48 hours).
 
Glad he's being so nice for you!

I don't have a "young" corn (she's a yearling) but I do have a 3 month old ball python, and I only take him out for about 10-15 minutes and then he wants to go home.
My yearling corn Sydney comes out for an hour every other night, or until she gets restless and wants to go home also. Every snake is different (or so I've heard!) :)
 
When Cleo was less than a year old, I wouldn't have her out for longer than a few minutes at a time as she was very flighty and I was very nervous about her escaping from my hands.

Now she's just over a year old and I still only handle her for 5 minutes at a time on average. She doesn't really 'settle' and is always on the move, and seeing as she's still not very big yet loves going over my shoulder and down my sleeves I'm worried ill lose her somewhere upon my person, lol! She is however much calmer than she used to be. I have had her out for as long as 15 minutes a few times.

Getting ready to start it all again soon though with my cb13 opal motley coming soon though! :)
