Hard questions!

I heard something about a red 'mask', I think or at least something very similar to that....does anyone know what I mean? And what it is?

Does anybody actually ever split what Charles Pritzel says makes up bloodreds, eg diffusion and this other thing called masque?

How was Strawberry hypo proved?

Have java and kastanie been proved seperate or the same now?

Last is christmas hypo an actual different strain?

I think I can answer the Christmas hypo question. It is compatible with Hypo A, therefor it is a form of Hypo A. It does create more red than typical Hypo A, so it is a variant of the Hypo A gene.

I believe there are threads on here for most of those questions. Some of them are many pages in length.

I remember Joe Pierce (ecreipeoj) saying he worked with redcoats... iirc he stated a gene is responsible for the look. From pics, the pattern looks like it's underneath a wash of red. You might ask him for more details or he might post in here.
