hating her new tank?

just over a week ago i bought a 40 gallon tank for my corn and i thought she would be so much happier able to stretch out and have some space because she was in a 15 gallon before and is a 3 1/2 foot long 1 yr old. she has been in there over a week now and appears to only stay in her hide on the warm side. i know she's cruised around at night because i can see her tracks in the aspen. i tried to feed her lastnight and she did not eat :(
is she intimidated by the tank? is it too big for her? i have 4 hides in total in there as well as silk plants and paper towel roll tubes to go from side to side, as well as 2 sticks. should i wait a couple days to feed her again? will she eventually get used to her tank and not be afraid of it lol ?

She'll probably settle in pretty soon. It might be an issue of temperature gradient, but otherwise, give her a week or 2. The new tank could smell odd to her? Just a thought. Next time you clean it, you could make sure you give it a super good rinse.
