Heat Pads

I am currently planing on getting a corn snake this summer, and was wondering how much heat pads are that could be regulated are. I always used unregulated ones with no problems with my pets health, but I wanted to try and step it up (to make sure heat is constant since I am gonna be in a colder area).

I second that thermostat - I have used it with no problems - very easy to setup, just plug your UTH in. You also probably want a thermometer. For quick temps, I have a temp gun I got for less than 20 dollars on Amazon - its pretty handy.
