Hello ... again :)

Addict and proud of it!
Hello everyone,

I am not a new member but it has been quite a while since I have been on here. I figured I would share some recent pictures of my corn snake (Orion). There are some pictures of recent additions as well. Here is the link: HTTP://www.photobucket.com/JadeOrionMilkshake

I believe Orion is a creamsicle but I got him as a "fancy" corn snake from pet smart last October (2010). Jade is a normal ball python bought from the same store and Milkshake is an Apricot Pueblan milk snake I adopted from a friend in the Kentucky Herpetological Society. Orion I will guess to be about 10 to 11 months old now, Jade is probably 7 to 8 months old, and Milkshake is about 5 or 6 years old.

Let me know what you think!

Welcome back!
Orion is pretty.
I don't know anything about hybrids, so I can't say if he is a creamsicle or not.
If you bought him as a corn snake, he is probably a corn snake... which would make him an Amel corn- unless you have reason to think he is a hybrid.

I love your milk snake.... such vivid colors! I am sticking to corns for now, but milks are tempting.

Thank you! I wanted to get a pueblan milk snake when we got our first one but I was buying it for my wife and she fell in love with Orion at first sight. :) Jade was a present for my birthday and I wanted to try out a boid for a change of pace. What a change of pace it was! LOL

I have no reason to believe he is a hybrid but the creamsicle is the closest colors and patterns to him that I can find a picture of. I am completely happy with him either way. :spinner:

Amels can look a whole range of looks. I have an amel that is so pale with almost no oranges, then I have a sunglow- they are both Amels, but they don't look anything alike.
You have a very bright Amel. :)

Yeah, I've noticed that about the amels. Everytime he sheds the yellows/oranges ... really everything ... gets a little brighter. :D
