So I am now a proud owner of a corn snake that bought from a breeder this last Saturday. I named the little guy Mars, not sure what type of corn snake he is, but he's totally cool. The breeder that I bought him from recommended me to use this site so here I am to say "hello every buddy!"

So a little about myself: I am 25 years old and I am a production assistant at Sony Pictures Television, I love movies and hope to someday work as an editor for the motion picture industry. My favorite genre of movies is Science Fiction: Some of my favorite films are: Children of Men, Star Trek 2009, Alien, The Thing, District 9, Moon..oh so many more but of course I can't forget about Star Wars.

So yeah, Mars is pretty awesome snake, he's mostly in his hide during the day and very active at night. Last I fed him was Sunday and I plan on feeding him tonight, I pretty sure I'm doing a good job taking care of him, he hasn't done anything odd that I know of so I'm sure he's happy I guess.

So thats pretty much it, I look forward to see him grow big and healthy.

Welcome to the site. Hope you find what you might need here by clicking on the stickies on the top of the forums and looking a round a bit.
If you have and questions just ask.

But you know.... membership here isn't official till you post picture of your snake. And seeing the line of work you’re in that shouldn't be much of a problem for ya. :laugh:
 
I agree with Lenny! We love the snake pics! maybe we could look at it and let you know what you have!?!?

Yes, yes, we need a pic. Even me, who has no clue how to post a pic, managed with the help of one of the smart people here!
 
I know, I know...I do need a pic and I forgot to included on my last post why I couldn't post a pic. So the reason is because I let a friend of mine borrow my SLR Camera and that's the only camera that I own. So I promise that as soon as I get it back, one of the first things I'm gonna do is post a pic of Mars. Then hopefully someone can tell me what type of corn snake he is. So in due time my friends.

Yes, looks like a bloodred! To be sure, are there any belly checkers. If there aren't, then that's what you have!

Very cute little guy, and if he ~is~ a bloodred, Mars is a great name for him. Does he have belly checkers?
 
No, he doesn't have any checkers, he has sorta of a pink belly...not sure what that means but awesome! Now I know what type of corn he is, and thanks wstphal, I thought Mars was a perfect name for him. You guys are all awesome, thanks!
