I just got my first snake on Sunday! His name is Toki. This forum has been very helpful thus far and I'm sure it will continue to be!

welcome! and nice corn. What is he? snow? blizzard? Can't see it well from the pic.

To be honest I don't know what morph he is. I got him from a locally owned pet store. He was in with the Normal corn snakes. He's got a very faint dorsal pattern, but nothing on the ventral side. It's possible that he could be a blizzard (that'd be cool!), but I'm far from knowledgable on it all. He's only ~20g right now, so we'll see what kind of pattern/color development takes place as he grows.

So far he's been a great snake. Pops his little head out from under the crumpled newspaper and peeks around on a regular basis (of course he much prefers the newspaper and papertowel tube to his pricey little store-bought hides  ) He seemed pretty comfortable the one time I've handled him as well. ...Here I am gloating like a new mom!

Congrats on your first, of many, cornsnakes! He is gorgeous! Hard to tell by the pics but he looks like a blizzard. Not common in petstores, but you never know! (unless you went to Scales N Tails)

Welcome to the forum, great people, great resources. :)

Also, I lived in the fort for 7 years, beautiful town! Will move back again one of these days :)

I have an '09 snow who still stuffs himself in toilet paper rolls with his coils sticking out both ends, its hilarious. Like my seven year old trying to wear his five year old clothing.

At 24.5 grams

Here's a more recent shot of Toki. I feel like his pattern is more visible following his shed.

Me, too! I keep trying to give him bigger hides, but he loves those toilet paper rolls.
The only other box he likes that I've found is a pie crust box (the pie crusts that come rolled up).
