I have Sidney my male corn snake who is 4 years old,had him since 6 months old,when we got him the guy said he was blood red corn but when we look at that morph he is lighter coloured,so can any1 tell me what morph he is by looking please?

What you have is a normal diffused corn snake, often labelled as blood red. I have one that looks very similar that was purchased from a pet store as a blood red. I was a little disappointed at first that he wasn't more red than he is, but I rather like the rusty tone he has developed.
 
Yes, unfortunately a bloodred is the result of diffused combined with the certain polygenetic traits. When more breeders began producing more and more bloodreds, they frequently focused only on the single gene mutation instead of selecting for enhanced color because they didn't know there was more at work, and so those traits were lost in the process. There are still excellent oldschool bloodreds around, but they represent a very small percentage of diffused corns.

Thank you diffused is fine,I do love his colouring but I could c he wasn't a blood red and I never wanted him for breeding so really it's just nice to know what he is,thanks again[emoji4]
