i own a snow corn and the last two days her eyes have not been as bright as normal they seem a bit cloudy. does this mean she will shed soon? it is her feed day today so shall i feed her or not? the humidity is 50% this sounds right from searching previous threads is there anything else i should do? :shrugs:

I would feed but many people wouldn't. Just don't worry if it doesn't eat.

Yes he is coming up for a shed. I would use two squirts of a plant misting bottle into the viv in the morning and at night when in shed.

I agree with Shrimply. Attempt to feed, and don't be surprised if it doesn't eat. I have a few that won't eat for a couple of weeks before shed, and others that will eat while in deep blue. I usually mist the viv once a day until they shed. Even thru the clear period. You can also make a wet paper towel tent in there for them to lay under (my amel loved that), and you just soak it each day with the water bottle, or make a moist hide. I found with my plastic tubs I don't have to do anything and get a perfect shed every time.

Treasure gets ice cream buckets with wet towels in them (not paper towels, actual towels hehe) Since I started to do this every shed has been perfect! He shed saturday morning... in my hand =D

That is such a cute idea the snake shedding in your hand. My anery did that to me once, she must have had a really quick blue period. One day I picked her up and thought her belly scales looked blue then shed was fed. Two days later i thought I had imagined the faded scales as she looked really normal. I was then surprised when I lifted her out a couple of days later and she broke the skin on my hand. They do know how to confuse you though don't they :bang: usually there is about 5 days when her eyes appear blue and then clear. :crazy02:

All but one of his sheds occured in my hands (I think... maybe 2, can't remember!) Hes out of his viv a LOT and it just happens that way hehe... usually he circles my neck and gives me a snake skin necklace :crazy02: Its really amazing if you get to watch them shed =)
