We got this snake out of the garden while my husband was weeding. I have no way to get a photo in so I'll try to describe him/her as best as possible.

I would say about 6-12 months, 15 to 20 inches, fat chunky body but skinny neck and head, head shaped like a corn snake, pale grey belly, pale gey stripe along the spine area with black spots on either side, pale brown spots along the side of the body, body color sort of light worm brown, black line sort of where the head connects with the neck, black splotch on top of head, black line through eyes. The head seems abnormally small for the body.

Any one have any idea on what it might be? :shrugs:
 
Not sure, I did see a snake last year in the yard. I have some pictures I will put on here but I think the one you are talking about is bigger than this.

Thanks, Guys. It was a northern brown snake and an adult. When I found out they eat slugs and worms and such I let him go where my husband found him. He can do more good for me in the garden eating slugs that sitting in some tank.
