Banana Phone.
My baby corn snake..Who is only about a foot long. Can escape...x_X He had escaped a week ago I believe. And then LUCKILY I found him in the middle of the kitchen two days ago.

I wanted to know what size of rubbermaid I should get for THIS size of snake..It's just a baby. And he can slip out of the smallest cracks..And I'm very scared he might escape again. He has been hiding on the top of his cage..trying to find a way out...But there are some places I think he can get out of...

I really want to use a rubbermaid.....So since they like to feel secure...I should use a rubbermaid, that is as long as him. And Maybe a little taller than he his( starting from tip of tail.)

And Another thing. When I had found him, I picked him up. And he bit me. Little bastard. But anyways..should I just leave him alone for a while...other than feeding?

if you really want to feel secure use metal binder clips (the type that holds papers together) to "clamp" shut the lid of whatever size rubbermaid you use :*)

What type of container are you using now? How big is it? In order to use plastic tubs you'll need to have a heating product that is adapted for use with them. You can't treat them like glass tanks. :)

It is usually best to leave them alone for at least a week to 10 days so that they can settle in.

if you use a rubbermaid or sterilite container, get a small bungee cord. I use this with my "escape artists" and they haven't gotten out since.

I used the shoebox sized sterilite containers and put a heavy book on top. No problems there.

Sorry.x_x

Sorry, haven't been on for a while.

Anyways, I think I will use those paper clips..The glass tank is a 10 gallon...And I think it's perfect...but it's old now....and I wanted a rubbermiad....so yeah...

Bungee

My friend recommended a bungee cord...So I can use both... :D But my little "escape artist" could escape 25 pound weights on all corners of his cage..

Where theis the smallest hole theirs a way :) .

The "bungee cord" sounds like a god idea, i'll have to remember that when i get some more hatchling's.
