Help!
My snake cinnamon has just thrown up a pinkie I gave him on Monday, 4/5 days ago. When I gave it to him he had blue eyes, which means he was about to shed, I've heard that they don't eat when they're sheding but he ate it up fine. He hasn't shed yet but I think he's going to soon, should I offer him another fuzzie?:(

hi

I had this EXACT same thing happen to me.

My female Anery corn "Aimee" was about 5-6 months old when I happen to have fed her when her eyes were blue. None of my other snakes had ever ever had a problem with this so I didn't think twice. She ate eagerly though She regurged that prey item. I removed the item, let her shed then fed her a week later and things went perfect.

I figured it was one of those things that just happens and months later again fed her when her eyes had *just* turned clear again after the blue...well again eager to eat but a regurgatation.

Aimee is one of those snakes who just can't eat while in shed. She never ever regurges any other time but those times when I mistakenly fed her in shed. I believe some snakes just can't/won't eat while in the shed cycle. I don't know why, maybe someone else has a clue but I suspect your snake is like Aimee, and during sheds doesn't want to fed...or can't because of the shed cycle. It happens. Some snakes are like that, most aren't.

I would wait 7 days from now, Let her rest, don't bother her. She will shed in the 7 days...then when 7 days is up try and fed her again....maybe a slightly smaller prey item but most likely she will do just fine and digest it normally. If she does do fine with her next item, and has no regurg, I would suggest waiting for her shed cycle to be complete from now on when you fed her :)

yep

If you wait a week, to allow her to recoup from the regurg and be out of shed she will probably eat and keep it down just fine!
