Howdy!

I'm sure some of you know that my MBK is not doing too well. We've had numerous vet visits, 2 wormings, fecals, and tests on a regurge. I've had Crow well over a month and he's only kept one meal down so far. Others he's ignored and we've had 2 regurges in a row. Yes, I followed Kathy Love's protocol, and no, the vets have no idea why he's having problems. His temperatures and humidity level are stringently checked, with a warm side from 76-78 and warm side from 83-84. He was on warmer temperatures for awhile, per doctor's orders. I've also ordered NutriBAC from Kathy, but she's been out-of-town or something and hasn't been able to ship it to me, yet.

Anyways, what I'm wondering is, would I be able to switch his aspen bedding for newspaper tonight without any worry of him regurging or anything? I didn't know if the sudden change would upset anything. I'll feed him just a pinkie head (heavily slitted) on Sunday, and I'd like to put newspaper down to better monitor if he regurges again, etc.

Thanks for the advice and wish me and my little guy luck!

If your going to make any changes, I would do it now. That will give him a chance to re-settle down before his meal.

I really hope you have good luck with him. Hopefully he is just going through some phase and will bounce back quickly!

Good Luck!

Wayne

I agree with Wayne... if you're gonna do it, do it now. I'd also provide MANY more hides for him so that he won't "miss" the aspen. He has to be "comfortable" even while you're able to monitor his regurges.

Good luck to you and your MBK!!! I'm pulling for you both!
