Can someone tell me if my snake is a boy or girl? I was told on the feeding forum that if i posted a pic on the underside of the snakes tail someone on here might now. The reason Im wondering is cause this snake hasnt eaten in to weeks and I was told its probably a male and its mating season and the makes dont eat during mating season.
The snakes about 5 yrs old from what I was told, we got it in Dec and it usually eats once a week.
 
A post of the tail can help - many pet stores and vets can also reliably and cheaply sex the snake for you. it is common for males to go off feed during the spring (mating season), and two weeks isn't something to worry about, especially if he was a solid feeder until now.
 
im not really concerned about whether my snakes are girls or boys. i am just wanting to be sure thats why its not eating.
Is it all of spring that a male wont eat? When should I be concerned about it not eating?
