Hi everyone, soon to be new owner

Very cute pics! I'm glad you are all okay after losing power. Usually, you want to give new snakes 4-5 days without handling to settle in, and that will be super important after the stress she went through. But I wouldn't worry too much - corn snakes are pretty resilient creatures.

Welcome again and congrats on becoming a "snake guardian!"

I don't plan on handling her until Friday. I was stressed out Saturday night and into Sunday so I can imagine what she was feeling. I had only gotten her Saturday morning and then Saturday evening gotten the Thermostat. We were just starting to zero in the thermostat when the power had other plans. I'm just glad she is doing okay and doesn't seem to stressed. The whole original plan was to leave her alone until Friday anyway.
I will say that she was very inquisitive when I had her out Saturday morning. She came right to my face on her own after warming up in my shirt. I will get more pics of her later on. She had a red tint on her belly that is very pretty. One of the things that caught my attention about her. :)
