Hi there!

Terry Allan Hall

Tortoise fanatic
Just stumbled onto this forum...nice place!

Primarily a tortoise keeper (about 35 years experience) but have also kept many varieties of snakes and have always loved Emory's ratsnakes (Texas' answer to the cornsnake  )...my male, Elwood, I've raised from a hatchling and is about 7 yoa/3' in length. Very nice personality.

Also have a Slowinski's ratsnake (or an Emory/Slowinki X...lots of opinions on her :p) named Elsbeth...she's pretty young, and maybe a foot long. A bit shier than my other snakes, but never a biter.

Lastly, I recently rescued a female corn, named Grace...a little shorter than Elwood, and also w/ a very nice personality. Not sure what morph she's be considered, but I've got a pic of her up over in Morphs, if anyone would care to weigh in on that.

Anyway, glad I found this site and am looking forward to learning more about corns. :)

Hello Terry! Welcome to the forums. I'm gonna' head on over to Morphs now and see Elwood

My bad...the pic in question is of Grace the cornsnake, and it's in "Miscellaneous Corn Snake Discussions" (still learning my way around)...

Here's a pic of my daughter holding Grace, Elwood and Elsbeth:

He's gorgeous, but both pix have weird color tints. This one has a yellow/green and on the Morphs post it's kind of orangy...any chance of getting one more for a truer color?

The one of Grace by herself was taken outside w/ "natural" (cloudy) lighting...that's pretty accurate to her actual color.

The one of all 3 was kinda off-color, very true.

Cell phone pics.
