Hi everyone. :)

I just was getting a little concerned about my corn.

I have only had her for a couple of weeks now, she's eaten for me once.

She used to come out at night after the lights were turned off in her cage.

But I haven't seen her so much as peek her head out for the past few days.

I couldn't feed her this weekend, like I normally would, because she has herself wedged in her climbing log.

Should I be concerned for her, or might she just be getting ready to shed?

How long can a corn go without food? It's been over a week for her now.

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Your snake could be getting ready to shed. You can tell by it's eyes getting cloudy and or they look duller almost cloudy on the rest of the body too, at least my two do. Corns can go for a while and not eat, it is winter also, so some don't eat as much or grow as fast at this time. When mine didn't eat one week I just tried again at the same time the following week and he went right for it. Good luck.

Thanks! :)

I think she's shedding, but I can't really be sure..
she has herself up in her log so well that I can barely see her at all...especially her head(eyes).

I just was getting worried since she hasnt come out at all, not even to peek around.

But my ball python did the same about two weeks after I got her, so I guess everything will be ok.

Ill post when she either comes out, or if I find her dead in there..

I just miss her, I guess!! ;)

Thanks again.

shedding

i agree...she probably getting ready to shed...but as for your concern...a small (even hatchling, not eaten yet) can live for 2 months...
she has eaten for ya so she should be good for at least 2 months...but ill bet ya she`d eaten before that time is over:)

Thanks everyone for the help.

She was shedding, she finished on this past Saturday.

That night she ate a fuzzy and has been happily digesting.

Thanks again, guys!! :D
