I'm pretty sure these two hooked up near the dog pen at work. The guys called me and said there were two snakes. At first I thought that was unlikely, then I thought about the time of year.
The snake behind the fence I've seen before and got pictures. Today I measured it at 5 of my boots toe to heel, my boots are 13" long and the snake was kinked. It's a beautiful animal and must be two inches in diameter with a big head.
The small one is a bit over three feet.
When I followed the large one it had "mud" streaks near the vent area. It was like some sticky fluid was on it and dirt stuck to it.
I hope they weren't interrupted before they were done, be nice to have some more around the warehouse sheds.
I saw more herps when I was following the big one...
