How do I do this?

Sisuitl

I dig'em!
We are moving 1500 miles away, and I want to bring Circe's glass 50 gallon viv. Our stuff is all going into a shipping container, they said to pack it so that it could withstand a 10 foot drop.

I feel good about how the dishes are packed, but how on earth do I pack her viv so it won't break? Has anybody done this? Any advice on what to do and what not to do?

Thanks for your time. We leave tomorrow so this is kind of last minute........

no guarantees, tape diagonal and up/down, and across on all sides and all pieces of glass. if it does break it wont shatter everywhere. goto home store buy a couple sheets of foam exterior sheeting, line all sides in, out, and bottom and brace sides to prevent flexing. tank also needs to be secured to the shipping container as it will undoubtedly will be bouncing around the back of the rig. this may be a bit much but will give a little piece of mind. good luck
