How long after vomiting should I feed?

I got my first corn snake a little over a week ago. The day I got her happened to be her feeding day, and I foolishly fed her. My care guide mentioned nothing of waiting a week to allow her to settle in before attempting to feed her. She vomited up both fuzzies four days later. They appeared very digested. I called the vet immediately afterwards, but she's convinced it's just because of stress or maybe low temps and didn't want me to stress her out further by bringing her into the vet's office. She told me to bring her in if it happens again. I asked Petsmart (where I got her from) if this had ever happened before and they said she'd never had any issues. They offered to take her to a vet for free, so I don't suspect them of lying about her health. I'm just going to try feeding her one fuzzy next time and see how it goes. I've left her alone since she vomited and she's acting completely normal now. She's very active at night.

ANYWAY. Just wanted to provide some background info.

What I'm wondering is how long should I wait before trying to feed her again? I've read both 7 and 10 days after vomiting. I'm slightly worried because she shed the week before I got her, so it's basically been three weeks since she last ate and fully digested it.

First thing to put your mind at ease, healthy snake's can go a long time without eating so 3 weeks is nothing to worry over.
How much does your snake weigh?
Do you happen to have a pick of the vomit?
Did you witness her vomiting?
(In this case vomit is the correct description over what most use which is regurgitation :) )
IF you did not witness it......
Sometimes snake feces looks like vomit. My guess is since it has been 4 days which is a normal digestion cycle that is what it is.
Maybe temps or some other factor played a part for it being partially digested?
If you did witness it........
7 to 10 days is correct (most say 8 days) to wait after vomiting or regurgitation to feed again. There is no harm in waiting 8 days. Feed just one fuzzy. Order NutriBac in the meantime. It's a probiotic. I was going to suggest Kathy Love's site but it's seems to be not functioning at this moment so .......

Usually people do not feed double prey items after pinkies. One of the few regurges I've had was because of feeding double fuzzies. The fact that it was very digested looking to me says that it's a regurge, not a poop. In my experience, the longer it takes for the snake to regurge, the more digested the food is. I would wait ten days to try feeding again and I would feed something very small, like a pinkie and slowly work your way back up.

And I agree with getting some Nutribac.
 
Thank you! That's great to know. I saw her vomit the first time. I didn't see the second time, but I'm assuming it was vomit as it looked identical to the first. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of it. Probably should've taken some. But, it was white and brown, soft, and slimy. It was really stinky also.

Petsmart gave me a chart showing that she's been eating two fuzzies a week for the past several weeks with no issues. I am going to cut back to one fuzzy, though. She seems too large to be eating pinkies.
 
She probably is too large to be eating pinkies, but after a regurge, it's really important to feed small meals for a while so that she can rebuild her gut bacteria.
