fairly new snake owner...just wondering, how long should I leave him alone when he's going to shed? He's due for a feeding, but I noticed he's been hiding out. I can see him burrowed under the aspen if I pick up his viv & look underneath, and I can tell he's dull, so I'm assuming he's about to shed, right? Should I hold off on his feeding & for how long? Any advice is appreciated...thanks

Some say yeah and some say nay. I think it up to the snake. some will eat some won't . I feed and handle mine during the shed cycle. but I don't handle a lot, just more for an a exam. You will have to find out what you snake is comfortable with.
