I did several searches but couldn't seem to turn anything up. If I bought live pinks from a pet store should I get them the same day or can they make it a day? Thanks
I usually got mine the same day that I'd feed. They don't last too long without warmth I don't think, especially if they're really tiny. You can always get the pinks and freeze them and feed them later.
I do plan on switching to f/t, but this will be her first feeding with me after her 3 day settling in time. She has been taking live so I wanted to offer a live pink to help make sure that this first feeding is a good one. Thanks for the help!
It would be best to get them the same day becuase they will be more nutritious since they will probably still have milk in their bellies. Pinkies will usually only live one day apart from their mother. Older pinkies could make it to a day and a half but that is about as long as they will live.
well about 2 weeks ago my g/f bought one at a pet store cuz she felt bad for it. She brought it to petco and the lady who works with the mice and rats said that its probably goign to die but gave her one of those cardboard box things they put the mice in with some betting and we bout some cat milk that was lactose free for about 2 dollars(its for the runt kittns who dont get fed from there mom) and we fed it about ever 2 to 3 hours and kept it under a light in its dark box for about 4 days before it died. but it really want worth all the time and the 2$for the 50 cent mouse. it was interesting though.
