New member
Just fed our new girl her first meal (she is approx. 1 year old - gave her a F/T fuzzie).

I put the fuzzie in her viv on a little "mat" so that she would not ingest the substrate.

How long can I safely leave the mouse in her viv without it "going bad"? Overnight ok? Since we just got her (last Friday) she is of shy. We haven't handled her at all.

I attached a picture of her - hopefully it worked. This is my first post - I will have to formally introduce myself in the intro forum.

Sorry, being a newbie myself (twenty-three more days 'til I get my snakie!), I don't have an answer, but your snake is absolutely gorgeous!! Such a cute little face :D
 
Yes over night is fine. If it isn't eaten by then it isn't going to be. By morning the mouse should not be saved, just flush it.
