How old is my new baby?

Spider-N-Snake Girl
Hi all,

I just purchased my second corn, a fluorescent orange female hatchling, at a reptile show today. My first corn, a ghost male, is a yearling now and I just can't remember him being quite this small! She is really tiny, not even as big around as a pencil and only about 6" long. I'm assuming she must just be younger than my male was when I got him, but I am just curious if someone could give me a guesstimate on her age at this size?

Thanks for your help!
Karen

This is a rough estimate, as I've never actually bred corn snakes and seen the itty babies, but I'm guessing maybe it's a few weeks old or younger. Some corn snakes may be 6 months old but look like hatchlings, so it's hard to tell.

I may be wrong of course but I would say that a 6" cornsnake is VERY young. A few weeks at the most.
