Hey guys, I just want to know how old corns usually are once they start to reproduce?...thanx alot!

Well, I'm no expert on this, but from what I understand they are able to reproduce as early as 18 months old. I know a lot of people don't reccommend breeding them this young however and opt for the 3 years old or 350 grams for determining a females ability to properly reproduce without stressing her body too much.

I'm sure people with more experience will chime in and correct me where I am wrong, but its a start.

I had a pair that I would separete after their second winter so they can't mate too soon, but they were faster than me. The female that was +- 1 year dropped 8 eggs that al hatched perfectly.

how big was she?

You were lucky she was ok at that size, were their any problems? & were all the egg ok and hatch ok?

Sorry for the questions but she seem's a little small to me, and i am interested in a sucess story.

In captivity snakes can be power fed (not reccommended) up to breeding size quite quickly but this will shorten their lifespan and potentially make the snake unwell. In the wild, it is suggested that it could take 3-4 years+ for a cornsnake fending for itself to get to safe breeding size.
