I disagree. I would hold out on feeding and handling for a week to let a new snake settle in. Refusing food isn't so much of an issue, but being stressed with the new surroundings/vibrations/smells/environment etc. could lead to regurgitation.
It is very hard to resist holding a new snake - I know, but my opinion is that it is worth the patience.
Having said all that, corns are extremely tolerant, and you probably won't have any problems if you do offer food tonight.
