(Hypo?) Opal - Fiora

Hi all! Just wanted to introduce Fiora, an Opal girl I picked up from an expo this past weekend. I know the picture quality isn't what it used to be, but I'll be back to taking outdoor pics when I get home from college over the summer.

On a side note, I know that she's an opal, but having had another female opal her size, it looks a lot like she might also be homo for Hypo. Compared to her clutchmates (which were also there) and Kel (avatar), she looks especially pink/orange. I had already been thinking along these lines when a bystander come up and said she looked Hypo, and the breeder mentioned that there was some running around on both sides of her lineage (not having heard the comment). Anyway, pic 3 best indicates her colours if you wanna provide your thoughts. Of course, I know nothing can be proven until she's bred, but speculation is still fun in itself.

I love how thick her borders are. Any breedings should produce AT LEAST some nice normals.

Last image, I promise. Just a fun one of her checking out the monitor.

My cousin purchased an opal for me too and on the container it was marked hypo opal. But idk, I just know the simple names, without all the technical hypo, dilute, and etc! I'm now curious.

Oh no, I tried to take some pictures of her against the black rocks. Usually the snakes will stay put for at least a second before climbing out, but unfortunately she wouldn't have it, so there aren't any pics against the black. No, I use aspen for substrate, no worries.

lovely! ill maby get some on one of my tessera breeding pair... i sure hope so! shes nice!
