i just found out i have a 50 gallon viv

Wow im shocked lol

Can you house 2 corn snakes together?

Wow, what a nice little pleasent surprise. Anyhow, about housing two corns together, like said above, is no. I don't see an adult corn not liking the extra space :).

ive been told you can:s

You've been told incorrectly then, mate. There are so many negative aspects of cohabitation that the general idea is; if people know the risks but still cohab, then they're selfish and misers, because they're too cheap to buy two tanks.

Just check these links out and read up, you'll see why cohabbing is bad.

But congratulations on the nice surprise. Your snake will enjoy the room, my Corn's in a 50 gal too, he enjoys it. :) If you plan on placing your baby straight into that size tank, then make sure you put lots of cover in there (e.g. multiple hides, so 2 on each side, lots of plants, vines etc.). If not, then just go for a small plastic Faunarium by Exo-Terra or a large plastic box with lots of airholes (make sure they're not too big, so he can escape) and obviously, a tight fitting lid. Also, using aspen bedding can help make them feel secure, as it allows them to burrow. :)

All the best

David

Well litterally, sure you could but should you? As the general consensus has already been pointed out, we tend to lean as a group towards no, especially if you are just starting out.
