:-offtopic HI Im BACK!! Ive been away for a while! I ave some new babys. SNOWS, ZIG-ZAGS, ALBINO?? REVERSE OKEETEE???? :bang: I dont know the difrence between an albino and reverse okeetee!!!! If anyone can post some pics of the diffrenses between the 2 Id be very very happy :crazy02: :crazy02: !!!!!!!!!!
 
Best would probably be for you to post a picture of your babies in question :cheers:

There isn't one.;)

Albino = amelanistic
Reverse Okeetee = amelanistic


A reverse okeetee is just an amel (albino) that is selectively bred to have thick white saddle borders, which is the opposite (or reverse) of the thick black saddle borders of a regular okeetee.

The bottom line is that reverse okeetees are just albinos that have a specific look to them.

^^...and there is no guarantee that those amel offspring will have the reverse okeetee look, but they probably have an increased chance since they have a parent that is a rev. okeetee.
 
The most exotic you can get in the first generation would be more snows. To get anything more would take creating hets and breeding them back to one another, which would be a multi-generational project.
 
What would you say will be a great project to work on??? :crazy02: I can get a motley gost female for a great price aswel!! But will she be worth it???
And what will I get if I breed her to a snow Male or a albino Male?? :noevil: Or what will I get If i maybe breed those males to a het Butter Het motly?? That female gave me 6albinos last season! :shrugs:

molty ghostx snow = Anery het moltey , hypo, and Amel


Normal het butter and moltey x snow = All would be normals, and amels, and some with het carmel, moltey, and hypo, i tihnk

How long have you been a member here? You should either A) know the answers to these questions or B) know where to look on this forum to find the answers.

I know you really want to breed snakes, but it is not somthing easy to do, for you or the animals. If you breed a mother snake too young it could really hurt her, and even for older snakes you take the risk and it take A LOT out of them. And then once you get babies, you could need 30 cages, and 120 pinkies a month, it is not somthing to take lightly. I have been keeping for 2 year already and probobly will not breed snakes until spring of 2008.
